MILWAUKEE—The Milwaukee Brewers are erecting a statue of baseball commissioner Bud Selig outside Miller Park and will unveil it on Aug. 24.

The statue will show Bud Selig looking the other way as Jose Canseco injects Mark McGwire with steroids. The inscription on the statue will say “See no evil, speak no evil”

I sign every autograph I can for kids because I remember myself at that age. I think it’s ridiculous that some guys won’t sign for a kid.

My suggestion is to have Selig, Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa statues in a pose of “Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no English.”

Selig will always be known as the commissioner who canceled the World Series and who looked the other way while the owners made millions off of Sosa and McGwire.
