2 homers and 5 rbis not enough to make up for strike out.

Quentin still was shaking his head over a fifth-inning swinging strikeout against left-hander James Russell.

“Don’t ask me about that at-bat,” said Quentin, still smiling, just a little bit bothered by his one moment of failure.

While I like Quentin’s high standards for himself, he has to realize that striking out in Spring Training is not world ending. Have some fun along the way is just what I am trying to say.

He was laughing about it after the game. Even so, he swung at a pitch that would have been ball 4 and that seemed to tick him off. He’s like that.

Perhaps, it is impossible for a person to truly change their personality or who they are. But even in a playoff series a player must be able to laugh off or forget their bad moments.

He was hitting against Cubs pitching.

CQ should be pissed off at swinging at ball 4.

Just so as long as he doesn’t punch his bat again.
