So the Red Stars lose to Sky Blue FC from Jersey twice this season, both coming at the leg of Tasha Kai. They nearly triple the number of shots taken, but can’t find the back of the net.

So, I have to ask - WTF? What’s wrong?

Their defense is a rumor and they take painfully obvious shots. No one is fooled by a clean shot straight at the center of the net. At least no one over the age of 8.

Their D doesn’t exist. And for all their offensive pieces, things are missing. I love the team and think Emma is great but at some point, the coach has to do something drastic.

How about draft a play that doesn’t look like it is regularly run in the 2nd grade? That would be my first request.
