Coach Key announced today that the Chicago Sky has signed free-agent Christi Thomas who will be joining the Sky at practices as of Friday, July 9th and competing with the Sky against the Liberty on July 11th.

This team has underachieved in every aspect this year. They just crawled back to .500 but they should be, easily, competing for first. I have no idea what is exactly wrong, but something sure as hell is.

Well maybe LeBron James decided that he didn’t want to be bitch to the true monarch - King Wade and will decide to play for a championship with the Chicago Sky?

It should be a good fit. And a nice compromise for James and Chicago.

But even with James in the fold, the Sky should continue to pursue other free agents.

After all, James cannot do all the heavy lifting on his own.

It will take a long time for the Sky to rebuild after failing to land LeBron.

Since signing Thomas the Sky has clawed their way to .500 and are virtually eliminated from the playoffs. They need to win all of their final games to even compete. I have no idea what’s wrong with this tea, but something surely is.
