Ozzie would make a terrific bench coach for Eric Wedge.

Or, maybe he can be the 3rd base coach when Sandberg takes over the Sox.

Nah, Cap’n saving 3rd base for the triumphant return of Windmill Kim.

Quade will want too much money to stay after Wedge gets the job.

Say what you want, but Quade is making a strong case for himself to become a major league manager. Maybe not with the Cubs, but some team is going to invite him to interview at some point.

Yeah the Sox could still salvage a 90 win season out of this mess, but doesn’t that seem kind of a waste since they’re not going to playoffs?

I agree all the way around Tom. I’m liking Quade more and more and I’m disappointed in the Sox. The only thing that keeps me from frothing at the mouth is that the team and the coaches on the field all talked about needing pitching and they got a bat. Like I mentioned a couple of days ago, it was like needing swim fins and getting a bike.

Yeah. I completely agree about the pitching. KW screwed the pooch on that one.

Mark Teahen drove in a run in 2 at bats today while Manny has twice as many but it took 60 more at bats.

I sign every autograph I can for kids because I remember myself at that age. I think it’s ridiculous that some guys won’t sign for a kid.

And Juan Pierre, another slap hitter, secured the sweep. More proof that I was right and KW was wrong.

Absolute stupidity to invite Cancer II for a $4 million month with the White Sox.

Cancer I had even worse percentage numbers than he had with the Cubs this season with Mariners. Finished 2009 on suspended list and 2010 on disabled list. One 500 at bat season in 11 years.
