The sad thing is that Vols fans like Pearl even though he is a cheater as long as the Vols win. They always refer to having a losing team before Pearl came to UT. What is more important to win games or to have a cheater for a coach? I would rather lose with a coach that has good character than a scumbag like Pearl who wins but has a checkered past.

The daughter of a friend of mine was a full scholarship athlete at Rocky top. They care nothing about the education of the student athlete. They care nothing about how the coaches comport themselves. The only thing these people care about is winning. They would not care if the coaches shot up every athlete with ungodly amounts of steroids paid them millions of dollars as long as the teams won.
Pearl is a jack hat. I cannot understand how the NCAA has not imposed sanctions on him and the university. The next kid who gets suspended by the NCAA should make his first phone call to an attorney to file a suit against the NCAA.
