QB’s torn MCL causes team to lose Conference Championship.
Who says the LFL isn’t like the NFL?
Heather Furr, quarterback for the Lingerie Football League’s Chicago Bliss, suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in the Western Conference championship game on Saturday and had to leave the contest. Sound familiar to Bears fans and Jay Cutler followers?
In a halftime interview, Furr vowed to return if she could (she couldn’t). The Bliss lost 31-14 to the Los Angeles Temptation in Jacksonville, Fla. OK, so now Quick Hits doesn’t have to try to figure a way to Las Vegas for Sunday’s Lingerie Bowl. Some consolation.
