I’m convinced that Whitlock doesn’t know shit about the NFL. Again today, he doesn’t recognize why Richard Dent is in the HOF. Child, (to use his term) look at his stats when he played. If he can’t see why Dent is deserving, he’s blinded by his own prejudices.

He proves that every time he writes a column about Jeff George. I don’t know what photos Georgie has of Whitlock from high school (I’m guessing the big guy “helping” a sheep across a fence as his pants fell to his ankles), but to suggest George should have been playing in the NFL for the last 5 years is absurd. George screwed up every single opportunity he had in the league. No owner was going to put himself in that position. George had a multi-million dollar arm, but a $0.05 head.
