The Bears will win today.
No team is as poorly prepared in training camp as Lovie Smith’s Bears. And yet no team in recent years seems to adjust as efficiently as Lovie’s Bears during a season, especially after the bye week.
Jerry Angelo is a genius. By refusing to significantly improve the offensive line or bringing aboard a top receiver, having an alleged elite (or not yet elite) quarterback such as the alleged injury prone Cutler, almost anybody (not named Todd Collins) can run this offense. Just turn the headset off and neutralize Mike Martz.
Caleb Hanie may suck. Or Caleb Hanie may not suck. The line is blurred because of the above created by Angelo. And just think it will be blurred more when Matt Forte either leaves town to get paid or holds out after being franchised tags.
Then it really won’t matter. And by that time, Cutler will want a new deal. Or a new team.
Oh what fun!

Gotta go with the Bears. If they stick to a good balanced game plan, Hanie will do okay.

The Jaypigs are dying to witness Hanie fail and the Bears lose today.
Otherwise the illusion of St. Cutler might be ruined.
I also would not put it past Mike Martz to sabotage the kid. And the Bears management turning a blind eye. Martz hates Hanie. And Bears management does not want to pay the kid.

Funny thing is that th3 Bears are 3 point underdogs. The other thing I see is that the Raiders haven’t beaten a team above .500 yet.
