It is quite simple.
The NFL regards Bears ownership as a bumbling joke.
And the NFL executives regard Ted the Hemorrhoid as a bumbling joke.
And the NFL coaches and coordinators regard Lovie Smith as a bumbling joke.
Nobody really wants to work for either except for “Nobodies” (Pep, Darryl), cronies (Martz) and others (Marinelli and Tice) with no place to go.
The scape goat gets canned. The Bears boast about bringing aboard the right guy. And settle for an inside hire.
This team fucking blows.
