Looks like the Sox hitters took the day off. Sale pitched a great game today, even though the Sox lost. Hard to believe that Melton last played for the White Sox 37 years ago and the AL HR title in 1971 with 33 home runs. He made $85,000 in his last major league season. A rookie makes about $400,000 more in their rookie season if they stay with major league team all season.

I sign every autograph I can for kids because I remember myself at that age. I think it’s ridiculous that some guys won’t sign for a kid.
