How does he* get away with this shit? As I posted earlier, Kobe, as he is now, is not the answer. First, it’ll take too much talent away from the Bulls to get him. Second, it turns the offense from 5 on 5, to 1 on 5. This is important in constructing a championship level team. Think back to the six championships. How many times did Michael make the deciding shot? Once, and that was to win the last of the six. This is not meant to demean his contributions. Rather this is to highlight the fact that MJ cared more about winning than he did personal statistics. I don’t see that with Kobe.
Slim, you are over thinking this way too much using basketball coaching sense. F***tard just wants to see Bryant prance around with Benny the Bull. Remember, F***tard is indeed a basketball expert since he watched MJ play.

Ugh.
Fire the F***tard.
I’m really sorry about that, Tyrone. I forgot that applying knowledge, common sense, and logic doesn’t work with dealing with the Omnipotent F***tard. Please accept my apology.
Bad Slimster (whack, whack).

Tyrone, have you ever seen a commercial or other advertisment depicting a “clean room” that used in the manufacturing of computer chips? Everyone’s in a white suit, the air is filtered to remove humidty and other pollutants. It’s also free of static electricity. If you’ve got that picture in your mind, even that isn’t enough protection to communicate with F***tard.
And to think there are fans out there who are happy the Bryant talks stalled. Excuse me, but are you crazy? High? Or just gullible about the overhype that the Bulls can win the East without a low-post scorer or a clutch finisher? Be happy that Lakers coach Phil Jackson, upon hearing Paxson’s so-called trade pullout, quickly reminded everyone that Bryant still could be traded to Chicago or elsewhere
A buddy of mine suggested one correction to F***tard’s rant of today. He noted that every African-American athlete that F***tard fawns over has posed, at least once, in skin tight athletic gear. So, instead of Kobe, I have changed it to read Hot Young Black Man Dressed in Rubber. It actually all makes sense now.
Hot Young Black Man Dressed in Rubber hangover staggers Bulls
November 3, 2007
BY JAY MARIOTTI Sun-Times Columnist
..... The Hot Young Black Man Dressed in Rubber Hangover, call it.
.... To Hot Young Black Man Dressed in Rubber or not Hot Young Black Man Dressed in Rubber? Now that the question has been answered, sort of, the new issue for the Bulls was how the wild events of the last week would affect ...
... They wouldn’t be human if they weren’t shaken by the daily Hot Young Black Man Dressed in Rubber commotion, having come to a realization that undercuts every career in professional sports:
If Paxson thought he had defused the Hot Young Black Man Dressed in Rubber hubbub and relieved his players of media pressure, he only was deluding himself. Deng, Gordon and others who were dropped in trade rumors are smart enough to realize the Hot Young Black Man Dressed in Rubber discussions aren’t dead as much as they’re just beginning. .... It isn’t time to panic, of course, but when you see the major subject of Hot Young Black Man Dressed in Rubber rumors (Deng) and an emerging target of Scott Skiles criticism (Kirk Hinrich) have bad games, it’s fair to ask if the Bulls are stuck in a we-are-what-we-are rut.
“Hot Young Black Man Dressed in Rubber! Hot Young Black Man Dressed in Rubber! Hot Young Black Man Dressed in Rubber!’’ some fans chanted in the fourth quarter.
...`The idea obviously still stands,’’ Jackson said. ``As (owner) Dr. (Jerry) Buss has reiterated many, many times, we do not want to trade Hot Young Black Man Dressed in Rubber , but we will listen to any comments that come our way that give us equal parity for him.
... As the Hot Young Black Man Dressed in Rubber cloud hangs, Paxson and Skiles are faced with the challenge of managing long-term uncertainty while trying to maximize potential.
..... He admitted to being irritated by the talks, and now that America knows all about Hot Young Black Man Dressed in Rubber’s high opinion of him, expectations are higher. Then there’s Gordon, who, along with Deng, rejected $50 million extensions and placed his Bulls future into limbo.
Obviously, these are not the Baby Bulls anymore. They’ve been forced to grow up and face the reality that their boss is interested in Hot Young Black Man Dressed in Rubber .

I would suggest you take a look at Mike Downey’s column yesterday. He was absolutely spot on. It simply amazes me that some people don’t want one of the greatest players ever and think this little engine that could team is on its way to a championship. It isn’t. With Kobe there would be some chances for one. I wouldn’t give up everything for him but I would give up a lot.
Kobe could be the answer if, and only if, the core of this team stays intact. Otherwise, as I have said before, they are the 2007 Lakers with a better logo. If Deng, Gordan, Wallace, Heinrich, etc. all get shipped out, you are not looking at a team, you are looking at an audition for the replacements for the Slowski’s from Comcast.

The “2007 Lakers” still might be good enough to win the east though probably not. This is why no one wants to give up all of the big 3 (Deng, Heinrich and Gordon) but two of them? Yes, I think so. And Ben Wallace? Would the Lakers be stupid enough to take him?

Funk, I disagree. In the NBA, then tendency is for championship teams to be “grown”. This means they’re not bought through free agency nor aquired through a trade. How many teams have won championships through either means? I have trouble thinking of any.

How about the Kobe/Shaq Lakers?
The NBA is a star’s league. Other then perhaps the Pistons recent championship, it is hard for me to recall an NBA champion that didn’t have at least one superstar on it.
