I have to wonder what type of financial advice these people are getting from their agents.  At some point, can’t someone with some financial sense save these people from themselves?

Agents only care about the size of their commissions. Once they squeeze everything they can get out of a player, they kick him to the side and look for another player they can wring dry.

I have always said as part of an athelete’s transition to the pros they should be required to attend classes in money management

In another report they stated he only realized he was broke when he looked in his checkbook and only had 100.00 bucks left.

Sapp probably woke up one morning and wanted to buy another pair of Jordans and thought WTF I’m broke.

Warren there’s a place called Payless were you can get shoes cheap.
