I’ve been skeptical of Peavy, Dunn and Rios. Stiall am, but not nearly as much as I was before the season started.
It’s still early though and they could still tank, but if they continure the way they are now..who knows?
Like Tom I hope the Sox are for real. Rios leading the team in hitting at .360 is a major plus. Sox still have 3 regulars hitting .191 and lower with Viciedo hitting .191, Beckham .170 and Morel at .164.
Bench players are hitting:
Lillibridge .214
Fukudome .188
Escobar .182
Flowers .111
With 6 players hitting below the Mendoza line, some of them will break loose anyday, since it is easy to raise an average with so few at bats.
The four bench players combined have one home run and 3 RBI.
