I mean, how much money do they really make in that department compared to the athletic department. The Congress needs to take a fresh look at the definition of non-profit organizations. The college athletic departments are considered to be non-profit under the tax laws so the tens of millions of dollars college sports teams are receiving in television revenue are not being taxed.
At least their priorities are in the right place. |
