Basically, a writer for MLS said that die hard soccer fans, after crossing the threshold from casual fans to super fans, become not attractive anymore. Yes, a writer for the league. Female fans took him to task, and he flopped and backpedaled but still, showed Cowley-like disdain to our fairer sex. The league edited out the statements but didn’t apologize.

Quite rightly, everyone is pissed, and even fans of rival teams are calling this guy out as a first rate fucknut.

I found the entire thing offensive - it didn’t just apply to soccer but other sports IMO. I know a lot of women who are big into sports. Big deal. This guy is a first class dick.
