Someone (a die hard Cub fan), trying to make fun of me for being a Sox fan, asked me why the Cubs have a better attendance record than the Sox.

I told him the answer is simple. It’s because there are more insane baseball fans in Chicago than sane ones.

I mean how else can you explain the fact that there are more people excited about a last place team winning two games in a row after losing 12 straight than there are over a first place team winning 7 in row? Freud would have a field day in Chicago.

The silence was deafening.

The problem is not 35,000+ showing up to watch a 100 loss impending team.

Certain “Die Hard Cubs Fans” have Big Ego’s and are so sensitive, I’m sure they spent there entire Holiday weekend locked in there bunkers crunching attendance figures and arguing with Chinese bloggers

about birth control. It would be nice if they would focus on the games being played.
