I just really really really want to point out that a breaking ball was used last night to intentionally hit David DeJesus.

This was verified by Bob Brenly. He played pro ball. And managed pro ball. And has a world series ring.

That must be considered irrefutable evidence that a breaking ball can be used to intentionally hit batters.

A myth has been struck down. An error corrected.

And the Cnb$ won. Convincingly.

AA vs AA. BP Cup material indeed.

Yes, it was a major league curve ball.

Brenly was gushing about the breaking ball. And how it has a time and place. And that was a message to DeJesus for bullshitting the earlier “hit by pitch”.

Goddamn that breaking ball has a lot of different purposes.

It was almost like the Sox didn’t want to waste one of their other starters on the Cubs, so sent Stewart to the mound thinking he would get an easy win. He gave up 6 runs and the bullpen gave up another 6 runs. Nathan Jones gave up 5 hits without even recording an out.

Pierzynski is having such a good season, that he is one HR behind Konerko and 3 RBI’s ahead of Konerko.

I sign every autograph I can for kids because I remember myself at that age. I think it’s ridiculous that some guys won’t sign for a kid.
