MLB Breaking news is reporting that the Braves got Dempster. No word on what the Cubs got in return. While not really shades of Maddux, it kind of sucks to know that he’ll be pitching against the Cubs this year.

This is getting weird. The Trib is reporting that Dempster wants to go to the Dodgers. The LA Times is reporting that the Dodgers want Garza. Garza, it is well known, wants to stay here and the Cubs have put an insane price on his services. Think 5 top prospects and change. No one seems to give a fuck what Atlanta wants.
