Hino,

There wasn’t any research done.  That was all off the top of my head, the sources all secondary.  Anyone who wants to look can find it.  I was going to mention Stone, but he’s hardly an objective source given the fact Prior was on the team that drove him out of the booth.  I still trust his word over anyone in the Chicago media.

Take credit where credit is due. We still respect you more than the Tinky man.

I’d just like to see Prior’s dad fully realized from the snippets I’ve heard about.  Talk about a hilarious yet tragic figure.  It’d be funny to see him get his comeuppance as a national f***tarded joke.

F***tard must be really lazy to miss out on a legit bashing of Prior’s dad if all this can be substantiated…

Guess we’ll find out.

Then again, to bash Prior’s dad would require a modicum of compassion for a man who has probably, more than once, told F***tard to go pound sand (I’m sure there was a failed pursuit of the “hot new kid” in ‘02 or ‘03).  Jay’s hack jobs don’t normally take a sympathetic view of the athlete, particularly one who has spurned his affections, do they?

Possibly only Paco the hackey sack player.

Well Rob, I’m pretty sure F***tard was overcome with giddy joy when MJ revealed to the world his inevitable divorce. And we all “love” to read F***tard’s fond recollections of watching Jordan’s kids play basketball with the royal highness. Who can forget F***tard’s “4 year old like mentality” of a column* when He so brazenly suggested that Jerry Reinsdorf “owed it” to Michael Jordan to sell him the Chicago Bulls. Hard hitting stuff indeed.

From my own observations, Prior has not looked healthy, over the past few years. He’s lost weight, doesn’t throw as hard, and has become alarmingly fragile. A few years back, former Sox pitcher Jack McDowell noted -(on Yahoo)- that players who used steroids, commonly had problems with their achillies. Both Prior and Wood, were quick to say McDowell doesn’t know either of them-(hmmmm?) Maybe both guys were using steroids and stopped, and the multitude of physical set-backs, are a result of that. It would explain *why* Cubs management has been so loyal to a couple of guys that haven’t consistently produced, in years?

Oh well, what do I know....I just watch these guys play-(when they’re able to)

You might say his father, Jerry, has overfilled Mark’s head with thoughts instead of urging him to throw the damn heater past the batter.

Yeah, F***tard “wrote"* that today:

Sounds an awful like the point Rob Nail made yesterday. Only Rob did a better job.

Fire the F***tard.

Fire the F***tard.

You beat me to it.

While I admit I acatually agree with him for once (Prior has to go), this coulmn* is further proof the Malignant Dwarf F***tard has added Jay the Joke to his list of “resources” for material. The MDF couldn’t lift Rob’s post word for word. That’d be too obvious.

My thoughts exactly. Sorry I am late. Had work to do first. Here is the deal. You don’t dump Prior unless you are absolutely positively 100% sure is is screwed physically. Sweet Lou needs to take him aside and tell him this,” Throw the freaking ball hard or go home. You have made enough money where you can retire if your arm falls off. If you throw hard and your arm doesn’t fall off then we can work on your head. Remember, they ride buses in Iowa.”

Case closed. Thanks to Tinky for willing to play GM again.

Good job Robnail. Hope Tinky cuts you a check for your help.

I really do believe that Rob Nail just got ripped off by F***tard concerning Mark Prior and his dad.

Damn you all, I was going to start a whole new thread thanking Rob for taking the time to write F***tard’s column* today. I should note that F***tard used quotes from Prior’s last post game interview. In other words, a week ago. I guess Paco was controlling the TIVO.

As a Sox fan, I haven’t followed Prior’s progress (or lack thereof) closely, but it seems like he’s hit the end of the road with the Cubs.  I also don’t know his contract situation, which would affect his attractiveness to other teams.  I think the Cubs might be worried about letting him go and having him make a huge comeback.

As for the Sox-Cubs fan rivalry, I think the hatred has abated somewhat for Sox fans since the Sox won the World Series.  Admit it, Sox fans, you would have hated for the Cubs to have made (and won) the World Series before the Sox.  Remember how you felt before the Bartman’s foul ball?  Or for us older guys, when Santo was clicking his heels after each ‘69 win and we had to put up with Brickhouse’s “Hey Hey” and “Happy Totals”?

I agree with most of what you said. However, I never really could work up a good hate for Cubs fans. I waffle between apathy and sympathy. When the whole Barman thing happened I remeber thinking it was no big deal. So a guy got the ball in foul territory, so freaking what? It happens all the damn time. But, the bar I was in was full of Cubs fans and they were wailing and blubbering then. And, of course, as it turned out they were right to do so.

I think it was discussed HERE. Basically, we all agree that Prior should go and that F***tard completely ripped off RobNail’s earlier post. Right down to the timelines.
