I read on another board that Bob Ryan is taking an extended leave of absence from the Boston Globe due to his son’s death. Apparently Mike Lupica and our own f*cktarded evil elf will be guesting while he’s gone. I’ve searched but can’t find any corroboration on the interwebs.

The evidence for the BPLP’s departure-
1- The Globe has carried his malicious rants in the past.
2- He gave Tom Brady and the Pats extended tongue baths this season.
3- He hates Chicago.
4- Bob Ryan is 61 and may retire.
5- The Scum-Times is a sinking ship, and the Globe offers job security.
6- Bahston is much closer to the f*cktarded confines of ESPN.

The only mitigating factor I can see keeping him here is his ginormous ego. On the East Coast he’s just another blowhard. Unfortunately, in Chicago he’s THE blowhard. Going to Boston where loud-mouthed, controversy seekers are a dime a dozen will only reveal what an untalented hack the he truly is. That’s why I think he’ll ultimately stay here.

Hopefully more info to follow.  We can only hope…

As horrible as this tragedy is, I hope the good that comes out of it is the MDF moves to Boston.

I’d hope so too, but then...First, we have the Red Sox, two WS championships in 4 years. Are they too successful to be the target of Tinky’s ire?

Then we have the Patriots. Plently of material there, but are they too successful?

The Celtics, they got Garnett. who F***tard had been lobbying for here in Chicago. They’re going to be the favorites to make it to the Finals. What’s to criticize with them?

How about the Bruins? Seems like they might make the playoffs too. Sure, they’re a middle of the pack team. but then. Tinky doesn’t really do hockey, does he?

This is a very sad story. It would be too bad if Tinky benefits from it.

Look at the bright side. If we get a lot of new Boston members, maybe we can get deals on chowder and Lobster.

The sad thing is that I can totally see Tinky exploiting this man’s tragedy to better his* career*.

I would hope the MDF gets hired in Boston and become so popular that Ted Kennedy will want to take him on a scenic car trip
