Uh, does this sound ANYTHING at all like the conversation expressed on these threads yesterday about CBS’ Greg Doyel?

F***tard was not there of course. But instead of reporting on something that He was actually at (which would require work), F***tard chose to basically copy and paste Greg Doyel’s F***tard column* (which was published yesterday) and then add His own special brand of hysterics.

This might go in the record books as the laziest bullshit column ever*. Oh and nice touch to pull the heartstrings by describing Warren Carter’s tough childhood when growing up. Somehow I think the kid will get over being called an idiot. But nice attempt on the thinly veiled suggestion that Guenther is somewhat racist because he called a kid an idiot. You could not even acknowledge Tank Johnson’s childhood when bashing him mercilessly but now use a social upbringing whenever it best serves YOU for YOUR useless F***tard columns*. What a douchebag.

Half a mill for this dreck John Barron, half a mill. And nothing like publishing a story that it is already pretty damn ancient. All it shows is that F***tard has not paid attention to anything related to sports since that Illini basketball game. Or He is simply stockpiling old toss-off columns* to feed to the Sun-Times. It clear that the F***tard never, ever played competitive sports (high school level minimum). The poll has it exactly right. You’re going to get called all kinds of things, and “idiot” surely is one of them.

I am somewhat surprised that F***tard did not send out a private investigator to also see if AD Guenther commits other various malicious crimes such as “jay"walking or driving one-half mile above the speed limit.

JFC, this is high level sports in a prominent national tournament. I’ve been called a hell of a lot worse on and off the field than idiot.

Perhaps He is only bitter because of Neil Steinberg’s biting commentary concerning F***tard the person and columnist*.

No, I never get tired posting this link at JTJ. I think it should be mandatory listening at every Chicago sporting event during intermissions/half-times/etc.

Well Tyrone and Slim beat me to the punch this morning. Personally, I like the way Tinky can cut and paste with the best of them.

First Tinky takes quotes from the repository and other people’s articles. At least this time he actually mentions where they came from. Good for you Tinky.

Well, this opens up a whole new can of worms now doesn’t it Tinky? You can sit back and pontificate about all things that are Chicago sports, and use all kinds of derogatory names for athletes and coaches, yet you feel obligated to sit back and criticize an Illinois AD that cares more for this university than anything other than his family. To me Tinky this is amusing.

Your clever nicknames, in case you forgot include, “Blizzard of Oz, The Big Skirt, The City of Weak Shoulders… et. al.” Now, if you are calling for Guenther to be suspended for calling a player an idiot, which quite frankly, some of those late passes displayed those tendencies, then you “Oh Great Tinky” should be suspended for continuously insulting everyone you write about. That would only exclude your kiss-ass articles about MJ and Tiger woods, who it is obvious you have man crushes on. You insult players, coaches, ownership, and fans. You do this all in print for everyone to document. How you are still employed amazes me.

Tinky, you are not clever when you use nicknames, that you make up. Although, I am sure you sit in the bunker with the doll and laugh at your own prose. Your ego would not allow any thing less.

This and other alleged Guenther blowups were reported by CBS Sportsline columnist Gregg Doyel

This establishes that Mariotti was not even there to hear these remarks, whether true or not.  It’s Mariotti taking somebody else’s word that they are true, not Mariotti actually doing the work.

No, sir, they actually WERE aimed at someone—Warren Carter—even if they were not intended for the player’s ears.

How does he know this when he’s already admitted he wasn’t there to hear these remarks?

What is the difference between this column and writing a blog?  Except, of course, any and every blogger in the world (and I do mean the whole world, not just figuratively) are better.

The guy takes another guy’s column and writes about it.  How on earth can he ever, ever, ever justify ripping bloggers ever again?  Save this column for the next time he goes after the internet.

I think the opposite was true: Tinky is so far behind in the number of columns he owes that he has to drag up crap day after day to meet his quota.  What else could explain today’s piece of garbage?  It’s so MDFish, starting off with the well-known story of Carter’s childhood and descending into fake pathos. 

Sure the Illini basketball program is “fading”: when you finish 2nd in the NCAA, how far up can you go?  If he knew anything about basketball, he’d write that these guys overachieved despite several distractions and injuries.  Some guys disappointed - McBride, Randle - while others like Carter and Pruitt stepped it up to higher levels.  I guess he used up all of his accolades for Southern Illinois.

Thanks for reposting the Steinberg link.  I e-mail him on occasion and he always writes back.  He told me he was surprised by the number of people who wrote complimenting him on the Dahl interview.  He shouldn’t have been.

Alright I’ll admit it-- Toko submitted the Yes on the poll-- one day his teacher called him “slow"-- as in “What are you Toko-- slow?”. From that day forward Toko always moved in a rather slow pace-- it takes him a few minutes just to walk down a 200 foot hallway. He talks now in a “slow” pace, works “slow”, counts out the pills “slowly”
-- he’s just kind of “slow”. Anyway, going back in time when Toko was only 7 when he was first called “slow” he thought to himself-- “I’ll show that bitch what “slow” really is”. He did all his school work slowly, got out of his desk slowly, ran around at recess slowly, all to just piss her off. Toko thought he was being clever. However, one day all the teachers and the principal got together for a meeting with Toko and his parents and they said “We are sorry to say Mr and Mrs Smith (Smith??-- can you believe Toko’s last name is Smith??) that you’re son Toko is “slow”. Toko’s parents were confused as Toko really was a smart kid who bounced off the walls like he was on crack and speed combined when at home. They just blew off the teachers and ignored them. Well, Toko played the charade and moved really really slowly all throughout middle school and high school. It took hours for him to finish a test, 20 minutes to walk to the next classroom, 30 minutes to take a piss. And what could the teachers do, they all knew he was considered “slow”? However, being “slow” took it’s toll on Toko but he was determined to not give in-- so he started doing research on certain pharmeceutical drugs that would “slow” him down. Well, you know how the story goes-- one pill leads to another pill which leads to another pill which leads to Toko as we know him today.

So to you Mr Guenther-- you have to learn that each and every word you use can have a strong impact on that person’s life-- “idiot” is not a word that you can just thrown around lightly-- just like “slow”.
