As if we didn’t know this already, Tinky has to rate as the person you would most likely NOT want to have next to you in the bunker as the shots whiz by.  Everybody saw this column coming from a mile away, but he just couldn’t help himself.  Rather than writing about how the team can turn this around, God forbid talking to a few experts for some insights, he fires the same lame chestnuts typical of a third-rate columnist.  The Sun-Times should be embarrassed to have him soiling the paper’s pages.

Actually, columns* like this are good for the environment. They guarantee paper for doggies and bird cages throughout the entire city.

I don’t think it’s wrong to to place some of the blame for last night’s stinker on the layoff. If I were to compare the two teams, I’d refer to the Bulls as young, and the Pistons experienced. Detroit knew hold to handle the layoff and the Bulls didn’t.

If there’s one thing to take comfort in, just remember the last time they played a game like this one was the last game of the season against the Nets. After that they swept the Heat. I’m not going to say that they’ll win four straight against the Pistons by any means. What I will say is I’ll be dumbfounded if we get a repeat of last night’s trash. I look for highly contested games the rest of the series.

That’s what happened to Skiles in Phoenix, if you recall. A coaching career that began promisingly, with a dethroning of defending champion San Antonio in the spring of 2000, ended with a mutual parting of ways 22 months later. To this day, Suns insiders say he irritated Jason Kidd and others with his demanding, grinding style. Skiles says that’s a lot of bunk, claiming he was young in the job (35 when hired) and still learning how to handle in-house NBA politics. But there’s no getting around that his team wasn’t playing hard for him and wasn’t having fun.

It is hilarious that F***tard supposedly spent time on this useless garbage while allegedly awaiting Game 2 in Auburn Hills.

The Bulls get shellacked in Game 1 and lo and behold, here is F***tard flip-flopping on the coach and banging the drum (along with a certain blow up doll) for insinuating that Skiles no longer has control of his team by “recounting"* the end of his days in Phoenix.

All this after sweeping the world champs but losing 1 stupid playoff game.

F***tard + “NBA Analysis"* = Springer + Trailer White Trash Gossip

Beyond F***tard.ed.

And worse? The one player Skiles felt gave a sufficient Game 1 effort, Ben Wallace, isn’t outwardly acting like a spurned former employee who wants to tear out the spleens of the Detroit Pistons. I understand the NBA postseason isn’t the war in Iraq, but must Wallace soften the magnitude of the series by mentioning that some of his former teammates didn’t join him for their usual dinner and card games Friday night? Is this really the time to be fraternizing, when the Bulls have $60 million invested for these very situations and his legacy will be judged in part on how he fares against his old team?

Normally F***tard is riled up over African American athletes acting like barbarians and “thugs” (uhh Tank Johnson anyone?) on and off the field.

And yet Wallace gets called out (did this really need to be printed?) by F***tard (of all people) as “soft”? Did the blow up doll not put out over the weekend?

So now, $60 million is a lot of money. A few days ago, it was a bargain and chump change. F***tard economics is very strange indeed.

But the worst of the worst is even mentioning Iraq in this context. Why even bother?

What a waste of money on the F***tard-Times part to allow this douchebag to travel on the company dime.

Fire the F***tard.

I have a slightly different take on this. Why can’t they still be friends off the court. I will tell you this. I have played with and against former friends for a long time. It doesn’t matter whether you have dinner together the night before. When the lights go on and the sneakers are laced up the friendship ends for the day. To imply that Ben is soft for wanting to have dinner with friends is F***tard at his finest. IF the Tinky man ever played anything competitively he would know that it is quite satisfying to beat your friends in any athletic contest. It gives you bragging rights, which alot of times is worth more the $$$.

OH DAMN, I forgot. Tinky is not the least bit athletic and has no “real” friends. So I guess he wouldn’t know.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.

Hino’s absolutely right. Anyone who’s a competitor probably wants to beat the people he’s friends with very badly. When you step on the field your only friends are your teammates.

I think the douchebag is only pissed off that Wallace preferred being by himself (after being stood up by his Pistons buddies) rather than spend an intimate evening alone with F***tard.

That is why he created the blow-up doll, to keep him out of those “sticky” situations.  LOL

Usual dumb, backward-looking, no-insight column from the MDF.  Guess he couldn’t rip the Sox or Cubs after their recent showings, and he must make people believe he’s actually in Detroit.

Assclown hasn’t publicly wrote that the Pistons are going to win the seires because he’s still waiting for his pre-season pick to win it all to come true...Dallas.  Oh, yeah...they got their weak asses bounced in the first round.  Good call F***tard.
