Dan McNeil has joined the ST sports’ staff.

I actually think this might be a good hire.  While he can be a bit brash at times, I do have to admit that he does approach all topics with a good level head and not a gut reaction.

I am fine with “brash.” It is the screeching just to screech that makes the little hairs on my neck stand up and then I go find my axe and then slowly I turn, step by step .... Never mind, I’m all better now.
