In a stunning move, The Bulls will trade Deng to the Cubs for Zambrano and then pull a double trade and get Tank Johnson to play low post. As long as they avoid Yi like the plague, I am good with whatever they do.

I think the Bulls will take the best player available and not necessarily fill a need. I think Paxson makes a deal for low post scorer during the summer.

Matt, good call on how horrible of a gm Kevin McHale has been. He’s in that group with Isiah Thomas, Scott Layden, Billy Knight and Mitch Kupchek.

Funny thing is that McHale had recently been named the best GM in all of sports by Forbes magazine.  Forbes knows alot about money, apparently not so mmuch about sports.

As long as they don’t draft that ass-clown Noah, I’ll be happy.

He should be eliminated for the Joe Smith fiasco.

And other reasons also.  I would love to find a way to trade up and get Al Horford.  That is the guy that in a perfect world I would love to get.  Him and Oden anyway.  FOr similar reasons as Matt I am a little leary of Spencer Hawes but he might be the best fit for what we need and talent.  I am anti Yi.  I just have a bad feeling about him.  Huge bust factor in my opinion.  Interesting choice might be Jeff Green if he is still available.  Just think he is a good Paxson type guy and we might be able to get something for him.

I wouldn’t mind Jeff Green at all actually. Nothing flashy but guarantee he would help them win some games.

I think a Zack Randolph trade is there most realistic bet at a low post scorer actually worth something, but it won’t happen until at least further into the offseason if not during the season.

It’s really too bad Sweetney couldn’t lay off the fast food. He was a beast before he let himself go.

IF for some reason the Bulls seem to make a pick that defies logic, it might be a part of a deal that has been agreed upon that they need to wait on certian contract things to finalize.  I dont know why I am warming up to Randolph.  Maybe Jermaine Oneal wouldnt be a bad fit either.  That might be a difficult deal to pull off though.

It would take all of 3 practices before Zach Randolph fell in to Skiles doghouse…

The thing that makes Randolph maybe worth the gamble is I think Portland just wants him out of there, meaning we could conceivably get him without giving up Deng/Gordon/Tyrus/Kirk. I’m thinking something like a signed Nocioni (6 millionish) Duhon (3 million) and whoever we draft at 9 (3-4 million). That would almost exactly match Randolph’s contract and Portland would be getting a bunch of high character role player/defense guys to fill out a team around Oden, Roy and Aldridge.

Meanwhile, we can use Randolph whenever we get stuck in a place where we desperately need to score inside, like against the Pistons, and play Tyrus against the more up tempo teams like Phoenix.

Believe me, Randolph’s personal history scares me a little, especially since he’s from the area (Indiana) meaning an even bigger entourage. But at that price, I think he’s worth the risk.

No Noah, unless we need someone to line up animals 2 by 2. Other than that, he needs to be ignored.

Why the anti-Noah sentiment?

He can’t score, he gets confused easily and he’s a cheerleader.
