I loved Mr. Team Player’s comment on the MLB board (the only people he talked to) when he was asked about being moved to the 6 hole; “Not gonna happen.”

Nice front page, btw.
Milton Bradley asked for a second chance.
However, it does not appear that Milton Bradley has any intention of correcting the self-destructive behavioral pattern that has resulted in being bounced around the majors.
He suffers from Tumor Owens Syndrome. TOS is a malignant cancer that inflicts the self-ego. Its mortality rate is 100% to one’s professional career. No matter how much money is thrown at curing this disease, the malignancy just grows and grows. During periods of remission, it fools others into being convinced that TOS has been clinically treated and cured.
Jim Hendry probably has little to worry about his club’s infliction of TOS. The team is already in the tank (with or without the TOS patient) and there is always Andy MacPhail and the Peoria-East Frauds waiting in the weeds to acquire Bradley.
Drop a nickel into the TOS contribution jar the next time you visit Wrigley Field.
Great post Tyrone and I don’t think you haven’t been too hard on Bradley at all. It is not asking much for a $30 million player to be ready to play, to hit more than .043, hustle on the field, talk to the media and at least pretend like he cares whether the Cubs win or not.
Read the comments. Cubs fans are blasting Rosenbloom for not being nice to Milty. It is fucking funny as hell.
this is the garbage that Bradley was talking about and why he won’t speak to you jokes in the media. yes, he’s been hurt a lot over his career. so have a lot of other people. if he’s not on the field, why do you field the need to write an article about him?

Just confirms what I’ve been writing since LA 0-3.
Lemmings. Fucking kool-aid drinking lemmings.
Sorry but I don’t buy being a “good fan” constitutes 24/7 orally gratifying a franchise that has done fuck nothing for 100 years.
Questions should be asked.
All this over worrying about Milton Bradley’s ego. It is pathetic.
These Grade A Idiots are defending an individual that has done what exactly?
Answer - About the same as the franchise (see above).
I was pulling for Bradley to do well with the Cubs hoping that he would hit 30 homers and drive in 100 runs. I was also hoping that he would play at least 140 games this season. I figured his days of problems with umpires were over.
Well...I figured wrong on all counts. He will be lucky to hit 15 homers and drive in 50 runs and play 100 games and his behavior problems are just starting. I have a feeling he will explode before the end of May.

I think most people want to see Bradley succeed.
But he won’t with this “world is out to get me” mentality.
And that certainly isn’t the characteristic this team requires to win a championship.
